The Viper Express is a spring-piston breakbarrel and is one of the most versatile airguns made by Gamo. Built on the proven reliability of the Gamo 1000 powerplant, you'll get 750 fps when shooting pellets and 725 fps with shotshells from the choked smoothbore barrel. The power of the shot is truly awesome, delivering 1/4 penetration into 200-lb. compressed paperboard.The all-weather synthetic stock has soft rubber checkering on the grip and the forearm. The Monte Carlo buttstock has a raised cheekpiece on both sides, making this suitable for lefthanded and righthanded airgunners. The butt is capped with a soft, recoil-absorbing, ventilated rubber pad. The bull barrel has a full vent rib and is topped off with a bead front sight. Customize the let-off with the two-stage adjustable trigger. When you cock the rifle, an anti-beartrap mechanism automatically engages to protect your fingers.
