It's a breakbarrel spring gun, so it's easy to learn and operate. And, the cocking effort is only 19 lbs.!Fiber optic sights (fixed front, adjustable rear) make it easier to acquire a target. It has a totally ambidextrous stock, which makes the gun suitable for lefties, too. Just because it's a training rifle, don't think the manufacturer cut corners. This gun is made to perform and last a lifetime. While the gun is plenty accurate as is, you can extract even more accuracy by mounting a scope on the 11mm dovetail.
