Q.I would like to know if the body of this gun is metal and what would the fps of this gun be if I upgraded it with a M140 spring?
A. Yes, the Classic Army CA249 MKII has a full metal body and if you upgraded the spring to a M140 spring then it would fire at around 450 to 470fps.
* Please note though, it is highly recommended that you upgrade the plastic bushings and spring guide to metal bushings and a metal spring guide. Also, it would be wise to upgrade any plastic pistons to polycarbonate pistons, any plastic piston heads to duracon piston heads, and standard gears to reinforced steel gears. Finally, just to be safe, you may want to upgrade the standard gearbox shell to a reinforced gearbox shell, to prevent any bending of the gearbox. For best results with the M140 spring you may also want to upgrade your battery to cope with the more powerful spring. (None of this is not necissary with the M120 springs though)
